Hi! My partner and myself are staying at the Paradise Pier Hotel in December this year! A standout to book at Paradise Pier was the firework viewing at the hotel! With the pools closed for renovation, will this impact the firework viewing in December?

Hey howdy hey, Lani! You’ve got a friend in me at planDisney, so let’s get started!

I’m so excited for your December visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, or should I say the Merriest Place on Earth?! There’s nothing as magical as spending the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort… from the decorative lights to the delicious smells and treats, it’s my favorite time of year in the theme parks!

I agree that viewing the Disneyland Park fireworks from the rooftop pool deck at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel is a huge perk! What a relaxing way to take in the fireworks, while lounging on the deck and listening to the music and dialogue from the show being broadcast to the deck. Well, I have good news for you, Lani! I checked with a Cast Member, and she confirmed that the pools at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel are currently closed for maintenance now through May 7, 2022. So, it sounds like the deck should be open again by the time you visit in December!

While you’re preparing for your visit, I recommend tuning in to the latest and greatest content from planDisney on Instagram! Join us to discover our top tips for making your visit to the Disneyland Resort magical (and merry!) in every way!

    Happy planning!
