    Hello, my partner and I will be going on our first cruise January 9th, 2015! when we are at a port of call are we able to leave the ship to just go explore? Or do we need to set up a specific excursion? Thanks for your help,

    Congratulations on booking your first Disney Cruise! You'll be amazed at all there is to see and do on a Disney ship - there's never a dull moment. If you enjoy being treated like a VIP, you're sure to be a huge fan of Disney Cruise Line's excellent personalized customer service from start to finish!

    Some of the best things about a Disney Cruise are all the fabulous ports you'll visit. While DCL has some really great Port Adventures to choose from at each stop, you're certainly welcome to disembark and explore the port on your own if you like. Before leaving the ship that morning, make sure to be aware of the "All Aboard" time. You'll want to ensure you have plenty of time to explore, and also plan for extra time to travel back to the ship. It's never fun to be "that" guest that's running to make it to the ship before it sails away!

    I hope you'll at least consider the Port Adventures that Disney Cruise Line has to offer. You might just find one that's "practically perfect" for you.
