    Hello, My Partner and I will be in Disney 10/2-10/8. We will be camping at Fort Wilderness for the first time. We have res at the Crystal Palace at 8:20am. Are we able to take the boat to Magic Kingdom this early or do we have to take a bus? Thank You

    Hi there Barbara!

    I love going camping! One of my favorite childhood memories is camping with my parents and brother! I've always wanted to stay at The Fort Wilderness Resort maybe, I'll get to soon! I have heard that Fort Wilderness is definitely a great place to stay. The campsites are very nice and clean. So the earliest way to get to Magic Kingdom is to take the Blue water launches which operate from 6:45 in the morning until 11:30 at night and run from Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness to the Contemporary back to Wilderness Lodge. I would make sure that if you have an 8:30 AM reservation, you need to get to the dock as soon as possible because the launches do take a decent amount of time to return. You will also need to walk from the Contemporary Resort to Magic Kingdom. It's not far, but if you allow time, it can be much more pleasant than running through the resort trying to make the reservation.
