    Hi all my partner our 2 boys and I are travelling to walt disney world in June only issue I have is my eldest son is on the autism spectrum and does not do well with crowds but really wants to go any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such an important question. It is wonderful to hear you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this summer! You are all in for a magical time!

    It's important to Disney that each and every Guest has a truly magical experience and therefor they are very thorough in meeting the needs of every visitor. There are many services offered to help Guests with cognitive disabilities, including those on the Autism Spectrum, enjoy their vacation. My favorite go-to and planning resource is the Services For Guests With Cognitive Disabilities page of the Walt Disney World Resort website. Not only is it full of information to make their visit better, but it gives you and other family members the peace of mind knowing you will all be able to enjoy your magical vacation together. You can also download guides like the Attraction Details for Guests With Cognitive Disabilities or the more general Guide For Guests With Cognitive Disabilities. The first offers details on each ride and attraction, so that you can be prepared knowing if the ride has loud noises, or flashing lights, spinning, etc. The other answers frequently asked questions and offers helpful tips.
