When using
Lightning Lane Passes, each guest must purchase them individually through their own My Disney Experience account, so your partner will need to create an account if they haven’t already. Once the account is set up, you can easily link together by going to your profile in the app, tapping on
Family & Friends, and selecting “Add a Guest.” From there, you can connect by scanning your partner’s linking code or entering it manually.
I find that the easiest way to link is by using the Linking Code. To access it, tap the three horizontal lines on the bottom right of the app, scroll down to “Account,” then select “Profile.” Next, tap “Show My Linking Code.” The app will provide a short explanation of what the linking code is, then generate a unique code for you to scan or share, it includes both a QR version and a manual entry option.
Once linked, you’ll be able to view and manage plans for one another. One person can take the lead on coordinating Lightning Lane selections for the group, which is especially helpful for high-demand attractions where booking together ensures you get the same return times. But you’ll also have the flexibility for each person to book individual experiences if you decide to split up at any point during the day.
