Hi Suzi,
It's great to see you planning Disney at planDisney again! There's a lot to be thankful for this year, including your November visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a magical way to celebrate the season of gratitude and hope. If Santa Claus can
parade down Main Street, U.S.A., with a snowy backdrop of Cinderella Castle, anything is possible!
As you mentioned, Guests with tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 p.m. This time applies to all Guests, including those with advance reservations for dining. I understand you currently have a 3:55 p.m. reservation for
Be Our Guest Restaurant. Disney will typically hold your dining reservation up to 15 minutes after your scheduled reservation time, but I don't think the stress of trying to make it to Be Our Guest Restaurant by 4:10 p.m. would set the right tone for your evening. Given the amount of time it takes to enter the theme park, get your party wristband, and walk to Be Our Guest Restaurant in Fantasyland, I'd keep checking for a 4:30 p.m. reservation or later. In my experience, reservation availability does open up closer to your travel dates as Guests are constantly reimagining their park days.
If you're open to an alternate Magic Kingdom Park dining option with a lot of character (and characters!), I recommend and see availability for
The Crystal Palace. The holiday decor makes Winnie the Pooh's Friendship Day Celebration extra special. I'm no food scientist, but I swear the carved prime rib even tastes better when there's a Christmas tree in sight. With The Crystal Palace's convenient location just off of Main Street, U.S.A., you could even make it to a 4:15 p.m. reservation.
No matter where you choose to dine on your party night, Suzi, be sure to save room for some complimentary hot cocoa and cookies. Different holiday treat stops feature different cookie flavors. Last year the gingerbread cookie with icing from Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland was my favorite.
Don't be a stranger now, Suzi. Keep those magical questions
coming so we can share in the excitement of your vacation countdown together!
Plan magic; planDisney.
