Have 3 parties (all with separate reservations) going to Disney World Feb 22-26. All are connected to Friends/Family. How does each individual reservation/party pay for Genie+? Is it better to have one person pay for everyone? Please help!

Well, hey there, Kathy! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad you've stopped by with such a great planning question. I love being able to chat Disney with a fellow Louisianian!

While this Louisiana girl loves Mardi Gras time, a week off of work and school means it's the perfect time to head to The Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am so excited that you will be in the middle of the magic in no time! Since you already know all about the Disney Genie+ service and have your entire travel party connected via your Family & Friends list, it sounds as if your planning is off to a practically perfect start. Now, let's get your loose planning ends tied up so you can sit back, relax and start your pixie-dusted vacation countdown!

I think the easiest thing will be for each separate room to purchase Disney Genie+ for their own travel party. On the day you plan on visiting a theme park and utilizing Genie+, I suggest that the three managers of the plans in each room log in to their My Disney Experience app around 6:45 a.m. to purchase Genie+ for everyone in their party. That way, everyone will be ready to book their first Lightning Lane reservation right at 7:00 a.m.

If all three groups in your travel party plan to stay together, ride the same attractions and book the same Lightning Lane reservations, I suggest having one person reserve the Genie+ Lightning Lane selections for everyone right at 7:00 a.m. and throughout the day to ensure that everyone gets the same attractions and return times. You can make Lightning Lane selections for up to 12 Guests, so if your travel party is 12 or less, this should work perfectly.

If some people in your travel party are thrill-seekers and want their first Genie+ Lightning Lane selection to be Space Mountain and some would prefer a slower pace and want to book "it's a small world," Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" You will find that when you're making your Lightning Lane selections, you can select one person or everyone in the travel party. Stay together or divide and conquer ... your wish is Genie's command!

I hope this was helpful, Kathy, and I hope y'all have the most magical and memorable upcoming vacation! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!

    Blue skies and sunshine,

    Mandy
