We have 2 parties under 1 reservation and need to have different credit cards linked to our Magic Bands. Can we still do Online Check In (which requires 1 credit card) but then link different credit cards to our Magic Bands when we arrive?

    Hi Amanda!

Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love it when our long-time friends come back to visit and talk Disney.

Yes! You may absolutely add separate credit cards within the same reservation, each linked to specific MagicBands, so you can charge awesome souvenirs, yummy snacks and extra special experiences back to your own credit card while having a ton of fun at Walt Disney World Resort. Like you mentioned, when utilizing Online Check In, any remaining initial balance of your total Walt Disney World Resort vacation that either party has will be charged to that initial credit card already on file. (These are all the options decided before your arrival like theme park tickets, dining plans, etc.)

When wanting to link a different credit card to a single or multiple MagicBands in your reservation, you can send one person up to the Front Desk of your Disney Resort Hotel with those bands and the new card to setup the charging privileges. Part of this process includes setting up a four-digit pin number that will be entered after every MagicBand purchase, so decide ahead of time and use something anyone attached to the same card will remember.

Bonus Tip: You can also turn off changing privileges for any band in your party, as well as set daily spending limits per band.

We'll See You Real Soon, Amanda!
