Is there a particular resort that would be the most fun for a 12 year old girl traveling with her grandparents? The resorts listed as Value look too youthful, but the price is definitely better. She wants a resort that has a pool with a slide.

    Hi Jan!

Unfortunately, none of the Value resorts have a pool with a slide.  To have a water slide, you should look at a Moderate or Deluxe resort.

In my opinion, the two best Moderate resorts are Port Orleans and the Caribbean Beach Resort.  Port Orleans can be viewed as one resort with two distinct parts, or as two separate resorts.  I personally prefer Port Orleans Riverside over French Quarter, but you could find a lot of guests who would say the exact opposite.  One of the nice things about Port Orleans is you can use all of the services and amenities of both Riverside and French Quarter, including the pools.  With regards to the pools themselves, my children and I prefer Riverside over French Quarter because the water slide at Riverside is much longer.

Caribbean Beach Resort is also a nice resort and it has, in my opinion, the best pool of any Moderate resort on property. However, the resort is very large. I recommend reserving a preferred room if you chose this resort.  I personally like Martinique and Trinidad North the best.  I recommend Buildings 25 and 26 (26 is closer to the bus stop) in Martinique and Buildings 31, 32, and 33 (closer to the bus stop) in Trinidad North.
