I am participating in the Wine and Dine Half Marathon and will be attending the post race after party. Are we able to make reservations @ restaurants in Epcot for the after party?

    Hi Amy,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

First off, chEARS to you for running the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon! I always find the runDisney event weekends to be so much fun. I'll also be attending the Post-Race Party as my wife and I celebrate her run. We attended the Post-Race Party last year as well and really enjoyed the celebration.

As Epcot will be closing at 9:00 p.m. for day Guests on the night of the Post-Race Party, and the Post-Race Party itself is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. to 1 a.m., there wouldn't be dining reservations available for the Post-Race Party. The latest table service restaurant reservation would be 9:00 p.m. The Post-Race Party does show that early entry begins at 8:00 p.m., so you want might to look at taking advantage of the early entry to see if there is a restaurant reservation available for you before the scheduled park closing. You can take a look online for available reservations, or you can call Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. During last year's Post-Race Party, we really enjoyed strolling and dining around all the food kiosks at the Global Marketplaces and taking in the entertainment.

Amy, here's wishing you a fun run and a great Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
