    Will be participating in the Princess Marathon weekend in February...what is the weather typically like this time of year? Trying to figure out how/what to pack?

    Hi Linda,

    How exciting that you are running Disney's Princess Half Marathon in February!

    Here are the average temperatures and precipitation amounts for February:

    February
    * Average high temperature: 72.7
    * Average low temperature: 49.7
    * Average precipitation: 3.02

    Keep in mind that these are averages so it can vary. I was there in February in the mid-90s and it was super cold one morning. That was unusual but it can happen. For the most part, I've found February a nice month to visit.

    Knowing what to pack is super important to me.  I always tend to over pack because I really do not like cold weather.  Right before your trip, check out the 10-day forecast at www.weather.com. You can search the forecast for Disney World to see if there are any crazy weather patterns predicted during your visit so that you'll know how to pack for your trip.

    If the temperatures are going to be chilly the morning of the run, you might want to bring some sweats or something that you want to start out in and can leave behind as you get warmer during the race.

    Please feel free to visit us with any other questions during your planning. We're thrilled to be able to assist you!

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
