Hi Dereth,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Guests are able to use Disney Dining Cards across the Walt Disney Resort property at a number of places including quick service and some table service restaurants. I’ve been to a number of dining locations both in and out of the Theme Parks and was successful using the Disney Dining Card. The process is pretty simple, the Cast Member will just need to scan your dining card’s barcode to use it as a form of payment.
One thing I love about the Disney Dining Card is that it can be added to my phone’s Apple Wallet. This makes it so easy so I don’t need to dig in my email to find the barcode! When you first receive your email with the dining card’s information (if you're doing it digitally), scroll to the bottom and you’ll be able to select “Add to Apple Wallet” or “Save to Phone” (for Google Pay) if you’d like to add it virtually.
If you’re planning to use the card for
mobile ordering in
My Disney Experience, you’ll want to add the “Account Number” and “EAN” from your card. In the past, I’ve just copied it straight from my email and added it to my mobile order. When you’re done creating your mobile order, you’ll want to select “Use a Different Payment Method” at checkout instead of using your normal payment method. Once you choose that, you’ll be able to “Add a Card” and that’s where you’ll add your card’s Account Number and EAN. Super simple!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare to come to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other planning or vacation questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
