    I am participating in the Jan 2014 WDW Marathon. I am wondering where my family should try and watch me; I was thinking Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and then go over to Epcot for the finish line? Is there a better place?

    Hi, Alyssa! 

    Congratulations on deciding to participate in the 2015 Walt Disney World® Marathon presented by Cigna®. It truly is the most magical 26.2 miles on earth. 

    When it comes to spectator locations, Magic Kingdom is tops! Not only is the atmosphere electric, but your family will have access to theme park restrooms. Making their experience more enjoyable, too! My best tip for viewing from the Magic Kingdom is to make sure your family arrives at the 5:30am opening time for spectators so they can find a good viewing spot.

    My second favorite location is Champion Stadium at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Your family will have a great vantage point as they sit in the stands and are able to see you for an extended period of time as you run the entire warning track. Additionally, there are clean restrooms and concessions available. 

    Disney's Animal Kingdom is a good location, but they will be spectating from the parking lot section of the course unless you run through well after the 9:00am park opening. 

    I also suggest signing up for Runner Tracking. This is a free service available on the runDisney website in the week leading up to the race. With Runner Tracking, your splits (every five miles through mile 20) will be sent to the indicated cell phone number, making it easier for your ChEAR Squad to estimate when they may see you.
