    I am participating in my first 5K Disney Run on May 5, 2012 - Everest Expedition!!! My daughter is also in the Kids Race At the Post Party, besides having that section of the park "just for us", is there anything else offered?

    Hi Bunny!  That is so exciting!  The Expedition Everest Challenge is so much more than a 5K!  There are obstacles and scavenger hunt clues!  It is such a fun race!!

    Your daughter will receive a t-shirt, medal and runners bib for the Kids Races.  And if she is going to the after-party, then you will both be able to ride some attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park! 
    Attractions open for this party include Kali River Rapids® Attraction, DINOSAUR, Dinoland U.S.A.® Area, and the Expedition Everest Attraction*.

    There will also be music and fun, along with post-race drinks and food. 
    I would definitely have your daughter wear her Kids Race medal to the post-race party after the 5K.  Everyone will be showing off their medals, and this will make her feel extra special!

    Good luck with your first 5K!  Maybe I will see you at the race!!
