I am participating the end of this month in the MagicBand pilot. We were holding off to buy theme park tickets until right before, can we add our tickets onto the MagicBands? We have already received them this week so only the hotel is linked.

    Hi there Erin,

I was just in a similar situation on my recent trip to Walt Disney World and I am pleased to tell you that adding my tickets to my Magic Bands was a breeze!  If you decide to purchase your park tickets once you arrive, you can opt to have them manually added by either the Cast Member checking you in (if you buy them at your resort), or by the Cast Member who sells you the tickets (if you buy them at a ticket window).

You can also manually add them yourself by using the My Disney Experience app on your computer or smartphone.  Once logged into your account, look for the reservations tab under the My Disney Experience logo and click on it!  You should see an option to select "Tickets" and this should take you to a screen that shows you currently have no tickets attached.  You can then "click" to add tickets.

You will be able to select your ticket type and will then be prompted to enter the numbers on the back of the ticket.  You can then select which band you'd like to attach that ticket to!  Once you have successfully attached the ticket to your Magic Band, you'll be able to see the ticket type as well as the number of remaining visits when you log into My Disney Experience!

    Best Wishes,
