    I want to participate in the Wine and Dine Half Marathon in 2014. Have those dates been announced yet? How soon can I register? Can I stay at any Disney resort or are there certain resorts that cater to runners during that weekend?

    Hi Carol!

    Great choice!  The Wine and Dine Half Marathon is my favorite runDisney race!  I am already counting down the days until this year's!

    The dates for the 2014 race have not been set yet.  I anticipate that they will announce the dates sometime in December. 

    For the Wine and Dine Half weekend, there are generally "host resorts" that do cater to runners and their spectators.  These resorts will offer free bus transportation to and from all race weekend events.  It is a great idea to stay at one.  The buses make transportation very easy and convenient. 

    The host resorts will be listed on the runDisney website once the details for that weekend are worked out.  You can browse through this year's information to get a general idea of what they may be.
