i would like to participate in my 1st 1/2 marathon, the disney princess one in Feb. how many nights do you suggest staying over? we need to be there the day before correct? is there a packet or brochure that could be mailed to me direclty?

Hi Jennifer!  The Princess Half is a great race!  It's a perfect race for your first half (or your 100th!!).

Obviously, I would like to stay as long as possible whenever I go to Disney World!  Since that's not possible, maybe you could make a long weekend out of it.  A great plan is to arrive on Friday and leave on Monday.  You do need to be there at least on Saturday before the packet pick-up is over at the expo.  There are no mail options for packets.  You won't want to miss the awesome "Fit for a Princess" Expo anyway!  There are tons of vendors there with different health and beauty items to browse and buy.

The schedule for the expo for the Princess Half is as follows:

    Friday, February 22

    9:00 a.m. – 7:00 pm

Location: ESPN Wide World of Sports Track & Field Complex

    Saturday, February 23

    9:00 a.m. – 6:00 pm

Location: ESPN Wide World of Sports Track & Field Complex

Be sure to check out the brand new and improved runDisney website  to find more information.

Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan for your first magical race!
