How many participants are usually accepted for a Disney run? I am wanting to register for the tower of terror 10 miler but since I've never done such a long distance, I want to see how my training goes before committing. Do the events usually sell out?

Hi Yvonne!  Each runDisney race is different.  For example, the Princess half marathon usually has around 12,000 runners, while the Disney World half marathon during marathon weekend has close to 26,000 runners.  Generally, the races will eventually sell-out.  Most of the time it is a couple of weeks or a month before the race.  However, sometimes when there is a new race, they will sell out faster.  For example, the inaugural Tinkerbell half marathon at Disneyland this year sold out really fast.
I would recommend keeping a close eye on the Tower of Terror 10-miler page on the runDisney website.  They will show how full the race is and keep it updated on the right hand side, on the "bulletin board" part.  I have used that myself as I was trying to determine if I was going to be able to make it there for a race. I hope this helps and I hope to see you at the Tower of Terror 10-miler!!
