Can I get partially refunded if one person in my group can't make our Disney trip? My brother can't make our trip anymore and I'm wondering what my options are for getting his park ticket refunded or if I even can

Hi Ellen! Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you for letting me play a part in your magical vacation planning.

I’m sorry to hear that your brother can no longer attend your trip to Walt Disney World Resort. But you can always take me to the parks with you. Just a suggestion!

Unfortunately, Theme Park tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. However, the amount paid for an unused ticket may be applied to the purchase price for future travel tickets!

This means that even though your brother can’t ride Avatar Flight of Passage or Space Mountain with you on this trip, you can plan to take him back to Walt Disney World at a later date!

I also suggest reaching out to a Cast Member at (407) 934-7639 to explain your situation to them and see if they can provide you with more options.

I hope this helps, Ellen. If you have more questions, please let me know. Soon you’ll be immersed in the magic of Walt Disney World!

    Until next time,
