Hello there, Margaret!
It looks like you’ll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort when all of the grim, grinning ghosts come out to socialize. The
Disney Parks Blog recently announced that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will return to Magic Kingdom Park late this summer. This party really goes all out for Halloween with a special Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, trick-or-treating from select locations in Magic Kingdom Park, and a show from the Sanderson Sisters at Cinderella Castle. If you’re interested in taking part in the festivities, I recommend
booking your tickets soon since this is a very popular event.
Now, to get to your spooktacular question- only one order per party can be placed for
MagicBands at the discounted pre-arrival price. If you order MagicBands for a portion of your party, you can still purchase MagicBands for the other members of your party, but it won’t be at the discounted pre-arrival price. If you decide to purchase MagicBands later on, you can purchase them through shopDisney or at your Resort hotel when you arrive. When you purchase MagicBands from
shopDisney or the Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll need to manually link the MagicBands to each person’s My Disney Experience account. I find that it’s easiest to do this on the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
Besides MagicBands, did you know that Guests can also use
Disney MagicMobile Service or a physical ticket from a ticket window to enter the theme parks? My personal favorite mode of entry is the MagicBand since it is so much more hands-free so that I can eat all of the Disney snacks. Disney MagicMobile Service, however, is super convenient in that you can use it to enter theme parks, connect Disney PhotoPass photos, gain access to virtual queue attractions, and charge to your Disney Resort hotel room.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
