Ahoy there Mary,
I LOVE the
Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage! It is super fun for the whole family.
There is a land & a sea portion to this experience. It begins at the Contemporary Resort 1 hour & 15 minutes prior to when the fireworks are scheduled that evening at the Magic Kingdom. They recommend you arrive 15 minutes early to check in, get your pirate bandannas & instructions for the evening.
The first part of this experience is on land. This is when you get to eat some yummy desserts & meet Captain Hook & Mr. Smee. You set sail shortly before the fireworks begin. You are typically on the water for approximately an hour but this can vary a little so you may be on the water slightly longer. Your surprise Guest is waiting for you when you return to land. Everyone is invited to meet the guest for pictures and/or autographs so this can take a little while depending on where you are in line.
If the weather is inclement, only the beginning land portion will take place so it could cut the experience down to an hour or so - click
here for more details on that.
There isn't a dining package associated with the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage - I'm not sure if you were asking about that one in particular. However, I really like the dining packages associated with other events such as the Candlelight Processional at Epcot and Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I love getting a great meal, reducing my wait time and knowing that I will be able to get a seat for the experiences. If you have any questions about a particular dining package, let me know. I'm super excited to assist you!
Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
