Hi! 2 part question: First, how long do decorations at Ft. Wilderness stay up for Christmas? Going the day after and hoping to see what the campers put out. Second, what cabin area should we request if a member of our party can not walk long distances?

    Hi Christy!

The day after Christmas all the resorts and parks at Walt Disney World will be full on decorated for the holidays and will stay decked out until early January. At the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort you will find campers who still have their sites decorated. Some of course will already be packed up to head home, but others will still be celebrating Christmas cheer.

Loops 2300 and 2800 both have bus stops and Loop 2100 is closest to the center of the resort. You may want to consider renting a golf cart because this is a vast resort covering over 700 acres.

    Have a magical vacation!
