Hi! We are part of a grand gathering of 12 staying at the Wilderness Lodge from 3/15-3/22. I'm confused by other postings--do the WL boats run early in the morning to the Magic Kingdom or do just the busses do the early morning transport? Thanks!

    Ahoy there Katherine,

While the Wilderness Lodge resort bus to the Magic Kingdom is the quickest way to get to that classic theme park, the boats at the back of the Lodge also start running an hour before opening time at the Magic Kingdom.  That delightful boat ride across Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon is worth your time.  It's an attraction in and of itself.  Don't miss the opportunity to ride the boats that dock at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

When you're headed to Epcot, you could also hop a boat from the same dock to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  (Just make sure you are taking the boat to the Contemporary rather than the one headed to the Magic Kingdom.)  Then grab the monorail at the Contemporary and ride it to the next stop, the Ticket & Transportation Center.  Here you can switch to the Epcot-bound monorail.  If you want to experience the monorail (and who doesn't?) during your vacation, this is a great way to do it!

Have a spectacular vacation at Disney's Wilderness Lodge!  Wish I could join you at this amazing resort!
