Walt Disney World Resort. Meeting characters adds extra cheer to a magical day. And you know there's something about Mary. Her pure cheerfulness is like a spoonful of sugar!
The last place I saw the enchanting Mary Poppins at Walt Disney World was last January during the
runDisney Marathon Weekend. I'm sure you can appreciate that she was one of the characters I stopped to meet. I needed that happiness that blooms all around her to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
For your trip, I just checked the
My Disney Experience app, and sadly, I did not see her scheduled to make any appearances. But our beloved Bert is sweeping into our hearts at
Disney's Hollywood Studios. You can find him on Hollywood Boulevard, near
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. For the times, check the app. Open the map (the map pin at the bottom of the screen) and scroll to "Characters" at the top of the screen. You can see a list of all of our friends with scheduled appearances. Pick the character you want to meet, and you can see all the details, including their location and the times of the character greetings. It's one of my favorite features on the app!
If you are hoping for a surprise greeting with Ms. Mary herself, she is most likely to appear at the United Kingdom pavilion at
EPCOT or the pavilion behind the
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in the
Magic Kingdom. These, of course, are not guaranteed, but if you are in the area, keep an eye out.
