When we were at the parks before we usually had late trading park hours Do they now charge extra for that

Hi JoAnne, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

If you are anything like me, there are simply not enough hours in the day while vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resort. That is why, as a Disney Resort hotel guest, I always like to take advantage of the extra-special helping of pixie dust provided by Extra Magic Hours.

Extra Magic Hours are a special time when Disney Resort hotel guests can benefit from being able to enter a select Walt Disney World Theme Park in the morning an hour before other guests, or by staying a couple hours in the evening after a Park closes to other guests. There is no extra charge to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours as a Disney Resort hotel guest.

The Disney Parks Calendar is your best resource for information regarding park hours (including Extra Magic Hours) for all four Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. Generally park hours are released approximately 6 months in advance, but do be aware that park hours may continue to be adjusted and changed as you get closer to your trip. Therefore, I always like to recheck the Park Calendar just before leaving on my trip to ensure that I have the most accurate and up-to-date information. Also, if you haven't already done so, be sure to download the My Disney Experience app, which will allow you to view park hours, make and view FastPass+ selections, and make dining reservations on the go right from the convenience of your mobile device.

Should you have any further questions as you continue your vacation planning, please feel free to stop back.  We would love to hEAR from you!
