HI Wendy!
Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
All of the parks at Walt Disney World have attractions for the whole family. I know that may sound strange if your only experience is with a regional amusement park, but it is true. Most of the attractions at Walt Disney World were designed with the whole family in mind.
That said, the Magic Kingdom definitely stands out as the theme park most suitable for younger children. In fact, it is the favorite theme park of most guests, including my favorite. You can easily spend two days there with a young child. I also suggest visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios. My two boys have always enjoyed the Future World portion of Epcot and Disney's Animal Kingdom as well. If you have the time, definitely visit all four theme parks.
For dining experiences with a young boy, I would recommend the following favorites:
- Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort (Character Dining)
- Breakfast at Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club (Character Dining)
- Breakfast at Ohana in the Polynesian Resort (Character Dining)
- Dinner at Garden Grill at Epcot (Character Dining)
- Breakfast or dinner at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom (Character Dining)
- Dinner at the Whispering Canyon Cafe
- Lunch or Dinner at San Angel Inn inside the Mexican Pavilion at Epcot
- Lunch or Dinner at the Coral Reef restaurant inside the Seas with Nemo and Friends at Epcot
- Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater at Disney's Hollywood Studios
I hope this helps! Please write back with more questions!
