Are the parks significantly more crowded during the Pop Warner cheerleading competition than the week before the competition?

Hi Amanda! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I have visited the Walt Disney World Resort during quite a few of the Pop Warner Competition weeks. I honestly have to say that I have experienced the Theme Parks being busy and also have experienced them being a bit more manageable in terms of the crowds. Whenever I am trying to figure out the best week to vacation I use a crowd prediction calendar such as Undercover Tourist or Touring Plans. While these are just predictions I have found both to be pretty accurate most of the time.

While you may see an uptick in the amount of guests during any competition or race weekend, there is also a really great atmosphere filled with really excited people. I think it is so fun to walk through the parks and hear cheers from happy cheerleaders or seeing people sporting a medal around their neck in celebration of their latest accomplishment!

I hope that whatever week you choose to vacation that it is filled with memories to last a lifetime!
