Do the parks sell Disney harnesses for children? I am traveling with my very active 2 year old and would like to know if should purchase one prior to arrival or if they sell them at the parks?

Hello Janine, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I can remember back to the days when my daughter was 2 years old, loved to walk and didn't want anything to do with holding a hand.  I think a harness is a great idea.  I don't recall ever seeing them at the Disney theme parks or resorts.  Just to be safe, I'd purchase one before your vacation.  It might be a good idea to try it out a few times before you leave so your 2 year old gets used to wearing it and it can be an enjoyable experience once you get to the parks.

I hope this helps.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
