Hello Hans!
I am excited for you and your family as you a starting to plan a wonderful first
Walt Disney World vacation! We are here to help with all things Walt Disney World and I am honored that I get the opportunity to assist you on the first steps of planning your Walt Disney World vacation!
The first thing that I would advise is to select a Walt Disney World Resort that will fit your family of five. Most of the
Deluxe Walt Disney World Resorts have room for five people. Typically, the Deluxe Resorts have two queen beds and a sofa that turns into a bed. My recommendation for your family is
a family suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The family suites sleep up to six people and have two bathrooms plus a kitchenette. There is a master bedroom which has a separate door. This master bedroom also has a queen bed in it along with a bathroom. In the Family Suite there is a table that converts to a two person bed and a sofa that is a bed as well which sleeps two people.
The second thing is to make a
My Disney Experience Account and add all the members of your family so that you can link your Resort reservation and tickets to your My Disney Experience Account. The next thing is to decide is how many days that you would like to be in the theme parks during your vacation and purchase
Walt Disney World tickets. Sometimes there are packages that come with rooms and tickets so make sure you look at the
Special Offers Walt Disney World webpage. Once you have your tickets, you will need to make a
Theme Park Reservation for each day of your tickets. This will be the first theme park you plan to go to each day. These are the beginning steps of your Walt Disney World vacation. Please ask us more questions at planDisney as you continue to plan your first Walt Disney World vacation with your family.
I hope that your first Walt Disney World vacation is incredible!
