A very merry welcome to planDisney, Courtney! We’re so glad you stopped by to bring us your question!
The holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort are the most magical in the entire world! From the dazzling decor throughout the parks and resort hotels, all the special events and activities, and let’s not forget all the special treats to enjoy, celebrating the holidays at Disney is truly spectacular and unforgettable.
Courtney, while the theme parks sparkle with holiday cheer, some of my favorite seasonal moments happen beyond the turnstiles. And trust me, there’s no shortage of festive fun to unwrap!
I usually kick off my Disney World
holiday festivities at Disney Springs! There, you’ll find the
Christmas Tree Stroll, where elaborately themed trees bring favorite Disney stories to life. There’s music, snow flurries, and even Santa himself! It’s the perfect place to sip a Peppermint Mocha and
get those family photos that sleigh.
Next up, another tradition I try to uphold, a resort tour! I’ll never forget walking into the main lobby of
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and getting hit with that iconic gingerbread smell! Nostalgia wrapped in a magical, cozy scent! Then, over at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, you might find a hand-crafted chocolate carousel that actually spins. I love resort-hopping this time of year just to soak in the cozy lights, poinsettias, and sweet holiday treats!
For an extra dash of yuletide sparkle, don’t miss the special holiday offerings like
Holiday Sleigh Rides at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort or seasonal entertainment that makes every evening feel like a Hallmark Christmas movie with Mickey-shaped sprinkles.
Whether you’re sipping cocoa under twinkling lights, taking in holiday firework spectaculars in or around the parks, or just enjoying the holiday vibes throughout the entire resort, there’s truly
snow place like Walt Disney World during the holidays!
Wishing you a trip filled with holly jolly experiences, merry memories, and a touch of pixie dust to make the season even brighter!
Happy holidays and warm wishes,
Emille
