Will the parks in Orlando be decorated for Christmas on 12/25 Christmas Day still?

Happy, merry, holly, jolly season's greetings, Michelle, and welcome to planDisney!

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas this year while you're dreaming of a magical one at Walt Disney World Resort. I'm excited as Olaf to report that the holiday decorations found throughout the theme parks and resorts aren't going anywhere until the first week in January at the earliest. I'm going to trade dreams with you for a moment and imagine a practically perfect Christmas Day.

On this hypothetical Christmas morning, my family wakes up in our Disney Resort hotel room to discover we were all on Santa's Nice List this year. After opening gifts, we head to Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for our favorite breakfast food - Tonga Toast! After breakfast, we take the Resort Monorail one stop to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa so we can get a good look, and a good whiff, of the life-size gingerbread house in the lobby. We then opt for a magical boat ride to Magic Kingdom Park.

At Magic Kingdom Park, a 65-foot Christmas tree and Mickey wreaths highlight our path down Main Street, U.S.A., to Cinderella Castle. We spend our park time experiencing our favorite attractions, like the seasonal Jingle Cruise, and enjoying holiday entertainment like Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. That's right, these exclusive holiday entertainment offerings are available to all Guests visiting Magic Kingdom Park on December 23 - December 29 this year (calendar is subject to change). We end the night watching snow fall on Main Street, U.S.A., with holiday treats from Main Street Confectionery in our hands (mobile food and beverage ordering recommended). We exit the park hand in hand, but not before turning back and proclaiming, "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"

You're in for a Christmas to remember, Michelle. If experiencing attractions is a priority, I recommend purchasing Disney Genie+ service to help limit your wait times. If you'd like any more tips for maximizing the magic on your best Christmas Day ever, you know where to find me!
