If the parks open at 9AM, is there usually a line that builds up outside the gate before it opens? I'm looking specifically at Epcot and Magic Kingdom.

    Hello Shanna!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week.

Yes, especially for Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort, there is a line/crowd that gathers for what’s called “Rope Drop”. Typically this is 30-60 minutes prior to the parks opening. I’ve found that crowd is significantly smaller at the other parks such as Epcot, but I would plan on getting there at least 15-30 minutes before it opens to be one of the first into the park and onto your favorite attractions.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
