Hi Judy,
Last year, my family celebrated Thanksgiving at the Walt Disney World Resort. We absolutely loved it! All the Disney theme parks and resorts were beautifully
decorated for the holidays with festive trees, wreaths, garland, ribbons and more seasonal lights than we had ever seen in our entire lives!
This year, except for Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, all the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks will be
open on Thanksgiving Day. Several restaurants will serve a traditional Thanksgiving Day meal. In past years, the holiday feast has typically included all the traditional items found on any Thanksgiving Day table – turkey, stuffing, gravy, potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
As of today, we don't yet have any information regarding the dining locations offering the special holiday feast menu on November 23, 2017. I suggest checking the
Disney Parks Blog for future announcements about special holiday dining on that festive day.
Did you Know? The
Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom Park offers a traditional family-style Thanksgiving Dinner every day of the year. The stately New England colonial-style inn serves the Patriot's Platter, a heaping helping of Roasted Turkey Breast, Pot Roast, Herb Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables. YUM!
Wishing you a most unforgettable Thanksgiving holiday at the place where
the magic is endless!
