are all parks open Christmas day

    Hi Robbie!

Thanks for reaching out to the Moms Panel!

What better place to spend Christmas than at "The Most Magical Place on Earth" right? Disney World has no peer when it comes to making Christmas extra special for all its guests. This goes from the special Christmastime performance, fireworks, and, what really impresses me, is Disney's special attention to detail at Christmas decorations all throughout Disney property.

The answer to your question is "Yes!" All Disney parks are open on Christmas Day. This generally also includes their water parks: Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, unless closed for refurbishment. For example, Blizzard Beach is closed at this writing, with an opening set for sometime early 2020. The 4 major theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom, however, are always open for Christmas.

Here's to wishing you a Merry Christmas at Disney!
