Hello Robin!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so happy to hear that in just a couple of months you will return to the Walt Disney World Resort to make beautiful memories with your loved ones.
I believe the best option for your family is to use
Rider Switch, which allows adults to take turns taking care of little ones who still cannot enjoy certain attractions. To use this service, talk to Cast Members at the entrance of participating locations. Please bring your whole party with you, and you will decide who will ride in the first group and who will be in the second group waiting with the toddler. At this time, Guests in the second group will be assigned a digital Rider Switch pass that will be linked to their MagicBands or cards, and will then be allowed to wait outside of the attraction with the child while the first group rides.
Please note that the second group will have a one-hour window to redeem the pass, and this window starts after the attraction’s standby wait time minus 10 minutes considering the time the pass was assigned. For example, if at the time the pass was assigned the standby wait time for the attraction was 70 minutes, the Guests in the second group would be allowed to redeem their Rider Switch pass after 60 minutes. After 60 minutes they would have one hour to use their pass by entering the attraction through the FastPass+ return entrance.
Thank you for stopping by, Robin. I hope this helps you while planning and that you have a magical visit.
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
