Do the parks have any kind of accomdations for Autism? My 7 year old son has autism. At our local theme park they offer accommodation such as shorter wait times for rides, similar to fast pass

Hello there, Sarah! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

In my experience, Walt Disney World Resort does a phenomenal job providing services and accommodations for their Guests with disabilities! There is a wide range of services available so I do recommend checking out the “Services for Guests with Disabilities” webpage. This page contains a wealth of information regarding this topic and breaks down services based on which disabilities you may need accommodations for.

One specific accommodation you may want to consider is the Disability Access Service! This service is available to Guests that cannot wait in a conventional queue line due to their disability. Guests utilizing this service can request a return time comparable to the current wait time which allows you to wait in a more suitable environment. Guests that are interested in receiving the Disability Access Service may speak with a Cast Member at any of the four main entrance Guest Relations locations. Here, a Cast Member will work with you to determine what the best accommodation is for your specific situation!

Another resource you may want to look over is the “Tips and Strategies for Families of Individuals with Cognitive Disabilities Including Autism” guide! Though the name is a mouthful, it includes a lot of valuable information that may be helpful as you continue to plan for your visit!

We would also love to answer any other questions you may have regarding your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

I hope you have a magical time visiting “The Most Magical Place on Earth”!
