Hi William,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We truly love it when guests like you stop by with planning questions. We consider it an honor to help guests plan and be prepared for their visits to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
I'm so happy to share some good news with you!
Resort Transportation throughout the Walt Disney World Resort is complimentary and no ticket is required. You only need to know which transportation you need to use to reach your destination. For instance, depending on which resort you have chosen for your stay and which Theme Park you are trying to visit, you might take the
Monorail,
Bus Transportation,
Water Transportation, or
Disney Skyliner. We enjoy all of the different forms of transportation so we try to make sure we use all four at some point during our visit.
I will admit that when the Disney Skyliner was first announced I was apprehensive. Would I be nervous zooming over the resorts and roads on my way to
EPCOT or
Disney's Hollywood Studios? I wasn't even a little bit nervous and the views from the Disney Skyliner are phenomenal! I am now such a fan of Disney Skyliner that we chose Disney's Riviera Resort for our next visit because it's on the Disney Skyliner line.
Just in case you need an alternate form of transportation, I'd love to recommend
Disney's Minnie Van Service. You access this service through the Lyft app on your smartphone. There is a charge but it's a fun splurge. We always smile when we see the Minnie Vans driving around!
William, thank you for visiting us with your great questions. We're looking forward to helping you with any planning questions you may have.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Amy H.
