I will be at the parks with my family of 4 and another family of 5, a total of 9 people in our group. Will we need to buy more than 1 Memory Maker package? We are ok to have our photos shared among our group. What if we ride different rides at same time?

Hello Josh, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

I am so excited to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days! I am happy to tell you that you can share a Memory Maker with your friends. You will not miss a magical photo during your upcoming trip.

If you are going to be the owner of the Memory Maker, everyone needs to connect to you on your “My Family and Friends List” in My Disney Experience. It is probably easiest for you to send everyone an invitation, even the adults in your family. When everyone accepts your invitation, they will also need to give permission to share “My PhotoPass Photos” with you. While in “My Family and Friends List” they can click on “update” next to your name and check the appropriate box and save. You will need to “update” your settings for each person as well.

When one of Disney’s PhotoPass Photographers takes your picture, they will scan a MagicBand to upload the photos to your account. As the owner of the Memory Maker, only you will have the ability to edit, crop, and download the photos. You have 30 days to download your photos before they expire. Be sure to share them with the other family that is traveling with you.  If you purchase Memory Maker at least 3 days prior to your arrival, you will save $30 on the purchase of Memory Maker. Have a wonderful trip.

    Say Cheese,
    Andrea
