When the parks have EMH at night, how do they get those that are not staying at an on-site resort to leave at regular closing hours.

    Hi Kelly!

This is a great question and one I had myself when I started taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours at night.  Once the park closes to day guests, Cast Members are stationed at various points around the parks checking for eligibility by scanning MagicBands.  Cast Members at the attractions will also be checking if you're a Resort hotel guest at the entrance to the attractions and will direct guests to the exit if they are not.  This process takes a little while, so you might not see the park thin out for about a half hour or so, but rest assured, they will not be able to get on the rides.

Please stop back by if you have any additional questions.

    Have a magical day!
