Hi Kelly,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question about
visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays. I see that you are from the fabulous Sunshine State itself, and I have to admit I am a little jealous. I have been lucky enough to visit the Walt Disney World Resort several times during the winter holidays, but my secret wish is that I someday live close enough so I can make it my annual tradition.
This year's
Walt Disney World Resort holidays start November 6. There are so many creative ways the Disney Parks have come up with to celebrate the holidays during this unusual time. One of my favorites has to be the special projection effects for Cinderella Castle! I can imagine grabbing some of Olaf's Frozen Hot Cocoa Cake from Main Street Bakery and sitting down to watch Cinderella Castle projections for the rest of my evening.
Besides the theme parks being dressed up in their holiday best, did you know that
Holidays at Disney Springs are also a joyful event? From its merry music to its special seasonal treats, this location has an undeniable holiday charm. Plus you can also finish your holiday shopping while you are on vacation - it's a win-win!
Have a most Magical holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort, Kelly! If we can answer any further vacation planning questions please come back and visit us again. We are Disney fans, just like you, and are always happy to help you plan your next Magical adventure!
