Hello Connie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
There is nothing quite like
celebrating the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. It seems as if every corner of the Theme Parks, Resort Hotels and
Disney Springs are filled with festive cheer and Christmas decorations.
Christmas decorations are usually fully up throughout Walt Disney World Resort by Thanksgiving weekend. While Magic Kingdom gets an overnight transformation from
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party into full-on Christmas mode for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on November 1st, Resort Hotels and Disney Springs tend to use the following weeks before all of the Christmas Decor and holiday activities get into full swing.
In my experience, a Walt Disney World Resort visit on Thanksgiving finds most Resort Hotels, Theme Parks and Disney Springs putting their most festive foot forward and you will get the full Disney Christmas experience.
With November 14th being before said Thanksgiving weekend, you may find that some decorations, activities, and festivities are not fully prepared before your visit. If you wish to ensure a healthy dose of Christmas during your visit,
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be at Magic Kingdom on November 15th and 16th starting at 7pm.
Have a Very Merry Vacation!
