Are the parks still decorated for the Christmas Holidays? We arrive on Friday, Jan. 26th and I'm wondering if we'll still see anything at MK when we go on Saturday, Jan. 27th.

    Hi Wendy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Wow - your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is coming up soon!

When I visited during the first week of January, all of the Christmas and winter holiday decorations were coming down. The Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs was still up but was scheduled to end on January 7th. I did call to verify my answer with a cast member. As always, the decorations were gorgeous and Cinderella Castle was simply stunning.

There is some good news, however! The Epcot International Festival of the Arts has just kicked off and will be running until February 19th. The workshops, seminars and children's activities for this year sound amazing! The Foodie Guide to Epcot International Festival of the Arts and the music of the festival Disney Parks Blog posts will give you more detailed information about the Festival so that you can decide which parts to enjoy during your visit!

Wendy, if you want to get a sense of that holiday spirit, try dining at Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom. The restaurant's colonial charm and family style meal always remind me of what makes the holidays so special - enjoying the company and conversation of our loved ones.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
