Hi Candace!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for sailing by to ask this excellent question! It's always so sad leaving the ship after a Disney Cruise. To help us shed fewer tears, my family and I try to book a vacation at Walt Disney World Resort after each voyage with Captain Mickey! Planning a
Disney Vacation by Land and Sea is the perfect combination of relaxation and fun!
If you are planning to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel after your Disney Cruise, you are able to book
Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation from Port Canaveral to Walt Disney World Resort! Currently, the cost for ground transfers is $35.00 per person, each way. The night before disembarkation, you'll need to place character-coded luggage tags (given to you by your stateroom host/hostess) onto each bag and set your luggage outside your stateroom door by 10:00 p.m. for cast members to bring into the Cruise Terminal. You'll pick up your suitcases at the Cruise Terminal upon disembarking the ship the next morning, go through Customs and roll them to the motor coaches waiting to take your family to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. There will be porters available to help you with your luggage, if necessary! The driver will load your luggage under the motor coach and safely drive you to the land portion of your vacation! If you check in at your Resort hotel and your room isn't ready yet, Bell Services will be happy to store your luggage until your room is ready!
Candace, I hope I answered your question. If you have any other questions regarding sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey, please stop back and visit us again!
