    Hi, Which parks have celebrations before it opens? My friend was telling me about how her kids loved picking up the confetti, it sounds like a lot of fun and I don't want to miss a thing!

    Hi there, Elizabeth!

    Each of the four Disney Parks - Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom - has a special Opening Ceremony every day just prior to the Park opening to all Guests (not, in other words, for morning Extra Magic Hours).

    There's usually special music, character appearances, and a countdown to the big moment. Confetti is not always a part of the ceremony, but you never know what surprises Mickey and the crew might have planned for the day.
