    Are the parks busier the week prior too or the week after the Marathon which is held in January

    Hi James!

         January is an awesome time to visit Walt Disney World and you can usually find some fantastic deals at this time!  The marathon weekend will be held this year on January 10-13, 2013.  The crowds will be significantly smaller the week PRIOR to the marathon weekend, as the week following includes Martin Luther King Day.  Honestly, the crowds aren't that bad the week after Marathon weekend, so either option will be just fine.  Have a great vacation and keep those questions coming!
