Hi Stephanie,
You are heading to Walt Disney World at one of my favorite times of year to visit. In the fall, crowds tend to be a bit lower, and the temperatures are dropping from the hot Florida summer.
You might want to consider which Disney theme park might be less crowded on each day. As you are traveling at a less crowded time of year, I do not believe that any of the Disney theme parks will be too crowded on any given day. As the end of your trip is during the
Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, and your whole trip is during the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, you might find that Epcot is more crowded on weekends and thus might want to visit it on a weekday. If you want more specific thoughts on projected crowds at Walt Disney World, you can check out the unofficial website touringplans.com. For a small annual fee, you can see their projections of Walt Disney World crowds.
Another consideration for planning which theme park to visit on which day is the
Walt Disney World theme park hours. While the calendar is not yet out for your travel dates, by visiting the link that I provided, you can see the park hours for each day as they are available. This may help you to decide which parks you want to visit on each day by noting which has hours that work the best for you. You can also see which park has Extra Magic Hours, which allow Walt Disney World resort guests to enjoy a select theme park for extra time before opening or after closing on select dates. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, these are great times to experience the theme parks with smaller crowds.
Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Stephanie!
