Hey there, Lauren. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question! I see that your trip to the
Most Magical Place On Earth is right around the corner. I bet you are getting so excited.
Lauren, each of the four
Walt Disney World Theme Parks offers a uniquely individual experience. They really aren't connected in the way that you are asking. You can visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day but only with the park hopper pass.
You have two different ticket types to choose from, Lauren, for your
Walt Disney World adventure. You can choose from a
standard theme park ticket that allows entry into one particular Walt Disney World Theme Park per day. The other option is to upgrade to the
park hopper pass. Park hopping allows you to enter multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day. Park hopping does look a little bit different than it did before.
Here is how park hopping is currently working:
- Guests wishing to park hop must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option
- Guests wishing to park hop must have a park pass reservation for the first theme park they wish to visit each day
- On the day of, Guests wishing to park hop must scan in and enter the theme park with park pass reservations first. This sort of "activates" the park hopper feature each day
- Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. each day and last until each park closes in the evening
- With your park hopper ticket, after 2:00 p.m. you are able to visit any or all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. There is no need to make additional park pass reservations (after that first one) to park hop throughout the day.
If you don't wish to upgrade to the park hopper ticket, Lauren, you can leave and re-enter the same Walt Disney World Theme Park throughout the day. So if you'd like to leave midafternoon for a swim or a nap, that's no problem. Your park pass reservation and standard theme park ticket guarantee you entry into that particular theme park all day.
I hope this helps break down the different ways to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help!
Have fun!
Jackie H.
