Hot dog! It sounds like you’ve got a little Mouseketeer at home who would love to see Mickey! Thanks for sending such a great question to planDisney!
Let’s start our Disney day at Magic Kingdom Park! Here, Mickey greets Guests at
Town Square Theater each day! Another super fun attraction to visit at Magic Kingdom Park is
Mickey’s PhilharMagic! This is an adorable 3D show featuring Mickey, Donald, Lumiere, Simba, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Ariel, Miguel, and other favorite Disney characters! Put on your 3D glasses and sing-along if you want! It’s hard not to! You'll also want to stick around for the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade! Your little one can wave and smile to Mickey as he makes his way along the parade route!
Another fun park to visit for your little Mickey fan is
Disney’s Hollywood Studios! This is my favorite place to meet Mickey! Head over to
Red Carpet Dreams where Sorcerer Mickey has been known to greet Guests! Also, be sure to check out
Vacation Fun at the Mickey Shorts Theater! You’ll notice that the theater seating is themed to Mickey’s shorts! And, of course, you need to ride
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway! This “any height to ride” attraction will be perfect for your little one!
Interestingly, this is the first theme park ride to feature Mickey and Minnie Mouse!
Finally, if your little one can stay up late, you will want to go to Fantasmic! This nighttime show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios takes Guests into the imagination of Mickey Mouse! There are favorite Disney characters, including Mickey, pyrotechnics, and waterworks! There is a sequence in the show featuring Disney villains. Little ones have been known to stay close to mom and dad during this part of the show! But in the end, Mickey is the hero and a big celebration occurs!
Please note that character appearances are subject to change, but these tips are some great ways for your little one to see and/or meet Mickey!
Dreams do come true!
