Hi Renee! Welcome to planDisney.
I am a huge fan of the mid-day break when visiting Walt Disney World Resort! While it's extra-important for babies and toddlers (and their parents) to get their afternoon nap, this is something my family continues to do even with older kiddos. It's so refreshing to return to our Disney Resorts Collection hotel, snooze or rest in the air conditioning with our feet up, take a dip in the pool and enjoy a snack, and then head out for more theme park fun.
Guests are welcome to exit and re-enter the theme parks. With your one park per day ticket, you'll be able to return to the park at which you have your
Theme Park Reservations throughout the day, as long as it hasn't reached capacity. (Reaching capacity is pretty rare, and I wouldn't worry too much about that - it usually only happens during the very busy holiday season or on special event days.) Something I learned when I had nappers is that it's best to leave the park about an hour and a half before your Mouseketeer's nap time; this allows time to walk out of the park, hop on Disney transportation (or get to your car), and get back to your room before a magical meltdown can happen.
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with this question, and I hope this helps you have sweet dreams and a happy family during your visit to Walt Disney World. My fellow Panelists shared their tips for visiting with preschoolers in our
Panel Extras, and Disney has a helpful
Planning Guide for Preschool Kids & Little Ones. You are going to love seeing the wonder on your Mouseketeer's face, hearing tons of giggling and excitement, and exploring all the magic together. As you continue to plan and dream about your springtime visit, we're here to help, so please come back and see us.
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
