With a parking voucher do we have to stay parked all day or can we leave and come back in the same day? Like if we left for lunch and and came back?

Well hello there again, Laura! It's so nice to hear from you again.

If you are parking at Toy Story Parking Area, Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, or Pixar Pals Parking Structure, you are welcome to enter and exit the parking location during the same day without having to purchase parking again. Simply show the Cast Member the printed same-day receipt you received when you paid and entered the parking location for reentry.

While you are definitely able to leave to get lunch, there are so many great options for lunch (and every other meal or snack) between the two parks and Downtown Disney District that you definitely don't have to leave. My favorite place to take a midday break for lunch at Disneyland Resort is Lamplight Lounge. I recommend the Lobster Nachos. Reservations usually do fill up for this spot, but try checking the dining reservations a day or two before the day you'd like to reserve. I've had success many times grabbing a reservation I had been looking for after someone decided to cancel last minute. This location also has Lamplight Lounge - Boardwalk Dining that has a virtual walk-up list you can join in the Disneyland app once you are near that location. This area gives you great views of Pixar Pier and has a fun variety of seating options.

Laura, I hope this was helpful. We are so glad you stopped by. I hope your questions are all answered and you can start packing! Don't forget to pack jackets or a sweatshirt for the chillier mornings/evenings. See ya real soon!

While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
